I have been a health care professional for the past 43+ years and have worked in many different clinical settings. My initial training as a Nurse was during 4 years of active duty with the U.S. Army.
Since 1999, I have been a Nurse Practitioner, Certificated by the State of California Board of Registered Nursing, and Nationally Board Certified as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
Upon graduation from the Harbor UCLA Medical Center, Torrance, CA, I was awarded a Womens Health Care Nurse Practitioner (WHCNP) credential & was Certificated by the State of California as a Nurse Practitioner.
I was awarded a Master of Science Degree in Nursing (MScN)upon Graduation from Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, CA.
My Credential as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified (PMHNP-BC), was awarded following graduation from the Northern Kentucky University, School of Graduate Nursing (a nationally recognized Advance Practice, Post-Nurse Practitioner & Post-MSN program).
Other prior educational attainment includes, but is not limited to : Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA), and ASc Nursing Degree.
You may confirm my continuous good standing as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of California through the California Board of Registered Nursing. My DEA # & certificate with the State of California, Board of Registered Nursing to prescribe Schedule II-V medications are current as well (I have the "Nurse Practitioner Furnisher" certificate, with Schedule II certification).
